The design studio Cheval Vert came up with a global visual identity for the exhibition the cloud of points. The scattered points invite us to embrace the beauty of chaos and the unexpected that occur during the evolution of language in space and time. In addition, the CILF aims to be accessible to audiences of all origins and ages.
This reflection has become our spearhead for the project. Three questions seemed essential to consider:
1. How can we make the gameplay accessible and enjoyable for everyone?
2. How can we create a fun, intuitive learning environment?
3. And finally, how can we invite the public to manipulate, explore, and discover?
We began by studying the documentation and briefs of the scientific committee. Our aim was to gain a better understanding of the project's specificities and to take into account users with different cultural backgrounds and disabilities.
We established a synoptic table. At the same time, research into graphic representation and the creation of moodboards enabled us to affirm our artistic direction.
Finally, we refined our conceptual and visual choices, culminating in the creation of a functional prototype presented at the end of the workshop.
Reducing the frustration of failure and encouraging enjoyable learning are our driving objectives in developing the project.
The poetic universe accompanies the visitor's exploration with strength and flexibility. Beyond their aesthetic purpose, the spectrum and cloud animations subtly guide the player and defuse the feeling of failure.
